This company is preying on pregnant women, many of whom are first time moms, who are trying to find quality products for their pregnancies and babies, and getting locked into a commitment that is not worth their money and forcing them to spend MORE money in order to end the subscription. They insist it’s because of a discount I received for my first box ($25 instead of $40) and those items were poor quality too. You know what is clearly communicated? Their “hassle-free cancellation.” That is obviously a lie, because I’ve tried to cancel twice and they won’t allow it.

#BABY BUMP BOX REVIEWS REGISTRATION#
That fee was not clearly communicated during the registration process at all. When I tried to cancel my subscription, they told me there was a $25 cancellation fee. Some of them don’t even have anything to do with pregnancy, like a body loofah scrubber and a makeup bag. They’re not truly custom to where you are in pregnancy either.

They aren’t anything like the example boxes you see on their website or their ********* advertisements. The boxes are filled with products that are average quality, definitely not worth the inflated prices on the insert card included with the box. Check your credit card statement monthly because they will charge you more than initially agreed upon or continue charging after cancellation even though they charge you money to cancel. I am obviously not the first person to have these issues with this company and though they respond to each message don’t seem to come up with any other solution. It’s also ridiculous they do not give you the option of leaving an honest review. It may be a nice one time one month gift for someone expecting just for the excitement but I would not recommend wasting your money. It’s people who had a good idea initially and ruined it trying to get more money. This company is not “moms looking out for moms” or whatever they promote. Another scheme to take advantage of people who are excited because they are expecting or trying to do something nice for someone that is. I’m order to do that they charge your credit card $25 just to cancel.

After receiving 3 or 4 boxes I decided to cancel my subscription because it’s a waste of money. When I went to can el it states I signed up for an 6 month subscription which I did not, and there is absolutely they no way for me to prove that. I wanted a monthly box that I could cancel at anytime. There are 1 or 2 items usually in a box that you may actually use. The items you receive are okay quality and definitely not worth the amount that you pay for a box. Their last email response "After reviewing your case, we will issue you a 3 month store credit and I want to be clear this is the final resolution we can offer" They haven't answered my questions and my request for a partial credit card refund. The credit card they have on file expired January 2022, but they continue to charge it every month as a "virtual credit card" as they do not have the updated credit card information. I have not received a monthly email from this company in 2 years. They have charged my credit card over $960 for boxes I did not authorize! I brought it to their attention in an email that during my 6 month subscription, I received their email each month letting me know the bump box was being assembled, if I wanted to make any changes and when it shipped. They have "no record" of me cancelling after the 6 month subscription. I've contacted the company and they won't return my calls, only emails stating their automatic renewal policies and will give me a store credit. Imagine my confusion when he asked me if our daughter enjoys receiving the bump boxes and how long I plan on sending them since our grandson is 2? I immediately logged onto the bump boxes website and my account was still active so I cancelled it again! I have 3 married daughters and grandchildren and order plenty of things online, so I'm very cognizant of cancelling subscriptions when they are complete. When my husband views our online banking, he's under the assumption monthly withdraws are active and current subscriptions that I have purchased and an authorized withdraw. I just realized they're still charging me $40 every month and sending the box to my daughter who moved over 2 years ago! If I wanted to continue her subscription, I definitely would have updated her address. I ordered a 6 month subscription back in September of 2021 and called to cancel when the 6 month subscription was complete. I wish I had read these reviews before sending bump boxes to my daughter.
